For almost 10 years, Aaron’s channeled his love for all things popular culture into the award-winning website and podcast, GeekintheCity.com. 2009 heralded the return of live radio dramas in Portland when Aaron began to write and star in A.Z., a series set in Portland’s dark future, after the zombies conquered the world and The Adventures of the Crimson Mist, a heart-felt love letter to pulp adventure during the golden age of radio. A whimsical take on Western European myth mixed with Latin American folklore, La Brujeria draws on Aaron’s Hispanic heritage, his love of mythology, and his adopted hometown of Portland. Jess L’Heureux is a freelance illustrator who recently graduated with her BFA in Illustration. She has a very eclectic taste in comics, if it’s a comic she’ll probably read it regardless of what it’s about. She is heavily inspired by the supernatural and many of her personal pieces and comics reflect this. She works at a local animal shelter (which also gives Jess its fair share of inspiration), though she hopes to one day be able to draw comics for a living!
