Myth says that Prometheus was sentenced to eternal suffering for stealing fire from the gods. A Monster–created by a man who also defied God’s will–sets out to find the truth behind the legend. Along the way, he may also find peace in his own, unending existence.
Frankenstein’s Creature finally finds his purpose in “The Fire Theif” by S.J. Hock and Xander Kent. The digital download includes a page from “The Monster Demands a Mate,” a mini-series by Josh Hechinger, with art by Dan Betro.
S.J. Hock tells stories in any medium he can get his mitts on. He got a BA in Cinema from San Francisco State and writes a webcomic called The Historically Accurate Adventures of Jack & Voytek, which you can read at CommandoBear.com.
Xander Kent is an independent artist, specializing in illustration & graphic design. Having also earned his degree from SFSU, he has started a webcomic & media production house, We Doomed . Under this banner he collaborates Jackson & Sam Hock to produce two weekly webcomics, 6th Circle & The Historically Accurate Adventures of Jack & Voytek, respectively. His work has been seen in The San Francisco Chronicle, and has been published in the Halo: Evolutions Anthology Vol. 1 by Tor Books. View his cave-paintings here – RedGrimRune.com
