A huge “thank you” goes out to the fine folks at What’cha Reading, who recently heaped mountains of praise on The Cask of Amontillado!

Read it here:

Reviewer Chuck Suffel praised creators Enrica Jang and Jason Strutz for their “economical,” visually striking adaptation, saying it “captured that [visceral] feeling I get when I read Cask.”  Read Chuck’s full review, then visit the Red Stylo store to find out what the fuss is all about!

The Cask of Amontillado is the macabre story of ultimate revenge by Edgar Allan Poe. This haunting and sinister illustrated work is by artist Jason Strutz, adapted for the comic page by writer Enrica Jang. This 24-page full color comic is the perfect way to prep for the release of  The House of Montresor, a full-length graphic novel by the same creative team, and a sequel to Poe’s Cask of Amontillado, expanding and continuing the tale of murder and vendetta that the villainous Montresor only hints at, fifty years after committing the “perfect” crime
