Drago Bentley Creator Receives Funding for New Script

Congratulations to Joe Kisch, the creator behind everyone’s favorite space detective DRAGO BENTLEY!

Joe has received funding from Screen Act to develop his new script.  Tentatively titled Jandamarra, the new story is a western with an Australian flare.  Visit Joe’s blog for more info on the project, as well as some ranting from Drago Bentley himself!  We wish Joe all the best, and can’t wait to see the finished product! In the meantime, big things are on the horizon for Drago, including a new edition of the trade that will be making the rounds at conventions this year.  Joe also sat down with RSM for a Q&A session that will be appearing in the next few weeks.  Check back often for updates on all things space detectives, as well as for news about Joe’s other projects.

Drago Bentley: Space Detective is a sci-fi crime tech-noir story about a gifted Private Detective who must solve the case of a missing billionaire, and in the process expose the truth behind a militant group of high level androids and a corrupt senator hell-bent on controlling the world.

Based on a feature script by Australian writer Joseph Kisch, and illustrated by artist Dave Acosta, the first eight issues of this sci-fi comic book is bound in a 254-page full color graphic novel, available for the first time in the United States!
