As we get closer to the official debut of our PRINTED collection at New York Comic Con, we are thrilled and excited to share that Jacky Smith, President of the Official Queen Fan Club in London, is the VIP penning the foreword for KILLER QUEEN, A Comic Anthology inspired by the discography of Queen!

We reached out to the Fan Club earlier this year to share news of our project. I almost coughed up my morning coffee when Jacky herself replied within a day and said she would throw in with us! A month later she sent in her foreword and I still cannot believe how wonderful it is. Jacky is thoughtful and supportive of all the artists inspired by Queen, and she even shares a sweet story of a conversation she had with Freddie Mercury!

Her bio: Jacky began working for the Queen fan club in 1982 after answering a newspaper advert in the London Evening Standard. She has organized
numerous conventions, parties and Queen events and secured tickets for fan club members to concerts, musicals and premieres. In 2014 the
fan club celebrated it’s 40th anniversary – and Jacky is looking forward to many more years at the helm.

Jacky’s foreword will be printed in the collected edition debuting at New York Comic Con in October, and we cannot wait for you to read it! And on behalf of all of our KILLER QUEEN contributors: Thank you, Jacky!
