More about our comic adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s CASK OF AMONTILLADO which hit stores January 20th: a glowing review from The Fellowship of the Geeks!

Reviewer, Mike Marlow, seems a pretty serious Poe fan, so praise for this new adaptation published by Action Lab is hard-earned indeed! He writes:

“The cellars feel ominous and dreadful, and Fortunato’s horror when he realizes what’s happening is gripping. Both writer and artist are clearly in sync in this beautiful adaptation of one of my favorite Poe tales.”

Cask of Amontillado cover Action Lab
The Cask of Amontillado is the macabre story of ultimate revenge by Edgar Allan Poe. This haunting and sinister illustrated work is by artist Jason Strutz, adapted for the comic page by writer Enrica Jang. This 24-page full color comic is the perfect way to prep for the release of The House of Montresor, a full-length graphic novel by the same creative team, and a sequel to Poe’s Cask of Amontillado, expanding and continuing the tale of murder and vendetta that the villainous Montresor only hints at, fifty years after committing the “perfect” crime!
