That cool t-shirt/skateboard/bodywash bottle design you like so much? Yeah, someone drew that. OPHELIA’S REVENGE artist, Alex Clark, and thrice-Emmy-nominated Mark Mullaney talk about the business of art in this new episode of the Making Art Work Podcast.

The Making Art Podcast is a series of discussions with working artists. As we’re promoting the ongoing Kickstarter campaign for the newest horror one-shot, OPHELIA’S REVENGE, comic artist, Alex Clark, gets to talk about making a life out of making art. The show follows Alex’s winding road from designing T-shirts for Walmart to his current gig as art director for L Brands’ Bath & Body Works, in addition to his career as a children’s book illustrator and now a horror-comic hired pencil!

This episode also includes a little origin story that involves some keen Red Stylo Media folks: Enrica Jang (me!), plus Alex and Mark’s single degree of comic separation, James McGee. Have a listen:

In OPHELIA’S REVENGE, a scorned lover (with a flair for the dramatic) unleashes Shakespeare’s Ophelia, a vengeful spirit which goes on to wreak bloody havoc on a modern-day Renaissance festival. A ghoulish celebration of #Shakespeare400, help us bring Ophelia (back) to life! Story by Shakespeare Shaken writer, James McGee, with art by Alex Clark and Jan Velazquez. Inspired by the gleefully horrifying original art by Laura Guzzo!
