BAROQUE POP is an eighty-page comics anthology inspired by the music of Lana Del Rey. The book is a carefully curated selection of short form comics and illustrations celebrating love, loss, success, and change by comic creators who came together after finding mutual solace and inspiration in Lana Del Rey’s music.

Baroque Pop is getting a great response from critics and fans alike:

Newsarama says Baroque Pop is “a properly weird tribute” with “sultry crime stories like ‘Summer Sadness’ … …to hazy science fiction like ‘Body Electric’ read the full review here https://www.newsarama.com/34832-best-shots-rapid-fire-reviews-darth-vader-1-batman-24-black-bolt-2-magnus-1-more.html

Graphic Policy: If you like your pop music darker and a little more retro, then the songs of Lana Del Rey and the Baroque Pop anthology are definitely for you. https://graphicpolicy.com/2017/05/16/review-baroquis e-pop-anthology/

Crossing – M.C. was feeling pretty good about his brand new job as a DARC train engineer, when the absolute worst happens his very first day: he hits a woman walking alone on the tracks. Occupational hazard? Sure. But worker’s comp doesn’t cover haunting! M.C. is desperate to figure out if Nina is truly a ghost, or just a really annoying figment of his guilty conscience.
Come get Crossing #1 AND #2 (available for the first time anywhere!) at SDCC!

Another title that has been killing it is our one-shot Shakespearean horror title Ophelia’s Revenge.
A scorned lover (with a flair for the dramatic) unleashes Shakespeare’s Ophelia, a vengeful spirit who wreaks bloody havoc on a modern-day Renaissance festival. Overgrown with gore, violence, and dark humor, this comic is an homage to the cheeky, bloody horror popularized in classic anthologies like Eerie, Tales From The Crypt, and Vault of Horror. And of course, The Bard himself, William Shakespeare!
Check out what the reviewers are saying about Ophelia’s Revenge:
Samantha from Rogues Portal reviewed and included us as one of their picks of the week! “As a Shakespeare fan, I enjoyed this bizarre, modern-day twist… The story and concept were entertaining and the details were delightful.”
Paul over at thepullbox.com says “Books like this are why I’ve really come to love the fearless approach of indie comics.”
Four titles you NEED to check out! If you’re lucky enough to be at SDCC this week then stop by! Remember Small Press Pavilion K-05!
