Robots. Space. Queen. What are you waiting for? This is the second story in our digital and print collection, KILLER QUEEN, A COMIC ANTHOLOGY inspired by the discography of Queen. Story by Jon James, with art by Kelly Williams; letters by Mark Mullaney. This story will be included in the trade paperback, due for release October 8th. The digital version is available to download right now in our online store and features Queen-inspired vignettes from artist CGhirardo, including “I Want Out” and “Seeing One In Many Ways”.
Jon James dwells in Lansing, Michigan, where he writes weird sh!t he has to tell his mom she can’t read. You can see some of this weird sh!t at jonjameswrites.com (but seriously Mom, don’t). His days are spent accruing useless knowledge and imagining that one day the President will need someone with his exact specializations in Bizarro fiction, DocuMaker 10.2, a rudimentary understanding of whatever science news is trending at the time, and the elegant construction of sushi roles. He always regrets his bios.
Drawing comics most of his life, Kelly Williams, through hard work and determination, has managed to stay mostly under the radar and unheard of. Having contributed to numerous anthologies over the years from publishers like Grayhaven and Alterna, as well as a growing stack of pinups for various comics, this rather short guy stays pretty busy. You can find Kelly and get updates and new ramblings at treebeerdstuff.com and facebook.com/KellyWilliamsComics. On the twitters : @treebeerd
