“One day at a time.” It’s a mantra for recovering addict Lavi. But when there is temptation at every turn and the ghost of past sins constantly whispering in your ear, some days never seem to end.
Inspired by Amy Winehouse, “My Mind is A Safe” looks at life on the other side of rehab. Brought to you by Ashley Leckwold and Chris Liu.
Ashley Leckwold is a writer based out of Atlanta with a penchant for all things nerdy and has done a whole other host of weirdness, from podcasting with Steampunk Boba Fett and DJ Doctor Q, to performing in drag, to editing an online steampunk newspaper, to getting her own IMDb credit for working on a web series with her friends. Most of her current work is non-fictional between her work at Nerdophiles.com and her freelance PR work (she has to put that journalism/public relations degree to work somehow.) Chris is an illustrator and sequential artist and is the co-creator and lead artist for The Zeldanime Project web-comic. Starting from a young age, Chris was mentored by professional comic artists Christina and Jo Chen and has since worked on various freelance projects for film and print. Studying animation and film, he strives to portray a cinematic experience in his visual storytelling. LiuChrisArt.com.
