R. Robert Pollak’s Shakespeare Shaken Pin-up Parade!

Artist R. Robert Pollak contributed five retro-style pin-ups for Shakespeare Shaken, an anthology of original comics and art inspired by William Shakespeare. See the pieces in the printed anthology, or OWN the entire collection of masterful work as poster prints!

R. Robert Pollak is a graduate of the Pratt Institute, drawing illustrations with a cartoon flair since the mid-1970s. Many of his pen and ink illustrations have appeared in an assortment of publications over the years, starting with The Soho Weekly News and Saks Fifth Avenue, to more recently The Shawangunk Journal, The Ellenville Public Library/Museum, and Historic Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Illustrations have been exhibited at gallery shows in Soho, Dumbo, Harlem, and upstate NY. In 2012, an independent comic book of pin-ups by Pollak, titled Mermaids, Vixens, and Wenches, A Pin-Up Gallery, is planned for release and will include the work of many other fine cartoonists.
