A graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Comics and Graphic Art, Inc., contemporary figurative artist CGhirardo returned to his first love, comics. Ashley is a writer based out of Atlanta with a penchant for all things nerdy and has done a whole other host of weirdness from podcasting with Steampunk Boba Fett and DJ Doctor Q to performing in drag to editing an online steampunk newspaper to getting her own IMDb credit for working on a web series with her friends. Most of her current work is non-fictional between her work at Nerdophiles.com and her freelance PR work (she has to put that journalism/public relations degree to work somehow), but Be My Clementine is her first comic book and the next step in eventual world domination. Amara Leipzig is a Chicago-based cartoonist and bookmaker from Los Angeles. Drawing from personal experience and their fascination with physics, Amara’s characters navigate through worlds filled with ruins, mysterious pools, emanating rays, and barren landscapes. Brockton McKinney lives in an iron-clad bunker far below the earth’s surface, where he makes sentient robots and occasionally writes comic books. He is the writer of Action Lab Entertainment’s critically acclaimed series Ehmm Theory, the upcoming miniseries Jon Bodyhunter: Intergalactic Motherfu#$er, and is a contributor to the Torsobear: Yarns from Toyburg anthology. A.I.Miller, born in 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas, is a figurative painter, digital artist, writer and comic artist. His passion is for exploring the vast poetic possibilities of narrative sequential art, which he studied while earning his MFA at MICA. Mira Mortal is an independent comic writer-artist who enjoys her different roles on various creative teams. Sometimes a colorist, an inker, a writer, and/or an editor, she is driven by a desire to bring stories to life, one panel at a time. Currently the writer-artist on a weekly horror webcomic called I.D. at mortaldream.com, collaborator on the Kickstarter-funded graphic novella entitled SPLIT with artist John “JAR” Rodriguez, colorist for Headlocks and Headaches by writer-artist Dean Stahl, and other unannounced projects.

Trevor Mueller works at an advertising agency by day, and writes comics by night. His latest project is Albert The Alien, appearing on Mark Waid’s THRILLBENT site. He has also self-published several other works including the all-ages stories Junkyard Chase. He has contributed stories to several anthologies, including Hope: The Hero Initiative from Ronin Studios, and Reading With Pictures, from the non-profit of the same name.

Juan Navarro is a Writer/Artist from Miami, Florida, Editor at Creature Entertainment, Creator of webcomics Zombie Years and VIGIL, and Assistant Director at CS Gallery. Born and raised in Hialeah (“agua, fango y factoría”) Florida, Juan Navarro has been writing for roughly ten years, making comic books for fifteen, and drawing and painting for over two decades. Fueled by a steady diet of comic books and Heavy Metal, Juan attended several Magnet programs in Miami including the Norland Middle School Arts Program and the Design and Architecture Senior High School. He graduated from the Performing and Visual Arts Center (PAVAC) at Miami Northwestern Senior High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New World School of the Arts at the University of Florida. He is the creator and artist of the web comic series Zombie Years since 2008, a founding member of Graphicsmash.com, and a founding illustrator for Steampunk Magazine. He was also a co-director of the CS Gallery in North Miami and the Art Director for the Oliva Cigar Company. Sarah O’Donnell is a UI/UX developer by day and comic author and illustrator by night. She was recently published in the successfully kickstarted Hana Doki Kira comic anthology in 2013 and is beyond stoked to contribute to Killer Queen in 2014. She also spearheaded and illustrated the fan-made Monster Hunter Beginner’s Guide, which was featured on Giant Bomb and Hyper magazine. Jarrod L. Perez (or TOONZi, as he signs his work) is the founder/owner of Milqtoast Comics, a company branded with high quality comics created by himself with stimulating and playful illustrations and stories, touching anywhere from stoner adventures in strange lands to random humorous social commentaries by engaging colorful characters. Picking up a comic by Jarrod is the formula for intellectual and thought provoking comedy at its best. He also plays bass and sings in his own band, as well as an occasional bass player for Dirk Strangely and his Hatchetmen.

A graduate of Pratt Institute, drawing illustrations with a cartoon flair since the mid-1970′s. Studied with David Edward Byrd (Godspell, Follies). Painting studies in Pietra Santa, Italy. Designed major displays/windows as a Visual Merchandiser on Fifth Avenue for over a decade. Oversaw corporate publications as art director for five years at the JC Penney Company’s world headquarters. Teaching art and many other subjects for the NYC DOE for more than twenty-five years.

Many pen/ink illustrations have been published in an assortment of magazines/newspapers. Starting with the SoHo Weekly News and Saks Fifth Avenue, to more recently The Shawangunk Journal, The Ellenville Public Library and Museum, and historic Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

In 2009, with assistance from John S. Lucas, started a new Katy Keene Fan Club on FB. Administered and created art for that group up to 2011. A highlight was the limited edition Pin-Up Parade comic book. It was an artistic homage to Bill Woggon’s 1945 creation.

Mermaids, Vixens, and Wenches, A Pin-Up Gallery was created in 2011. It featured postcard collections and an independent pin-up comic that debuted in 2012. During that same year several b/w illustrations for Red Stylo Media’s Shakespeare Shaken Anthology were published. Following that project a year later with a short story for Unfashioned Creatures, A Frankenstein Anthology.

Pollak created Ellen’s Adventures at the Shadowland, a weekly seasonal comic strip for an upstate New York newspaper, the Shawangunk Journal. It incorporates the local theatre, festivals, history and landmarks in the Ulster County area. It begins its third year in 2015.

Erica Schultz is the writer and co-creator of the original comic book series, M3. Growing up, Erica would steal whatever her older brother came home with from the comic store, and fell in love with such titles as X-Men, Batman, and Spider-Man, to name a few. She’s worked in the comic industry for more than three years, and has provided artistic and editor support on the mini-series Batman Odyssey, New Avengers 16.1, Blood, and The Astonishing X-Men motion comic “Gifted.” Erica has also written a four-issue Judo Girl mini series and a Venus & Valkyrie one-shot for Bluewater Comics. More recently, she has been working with Red Stylo Press, providing editorial, design, and lettering support for their various titles.

Dean is a life-long comics fan from the suburbs of Detroit, MI and is now a Lansing, MI resident, reaching his life’s goal to pencil comics. He has worked for Insomnia Publications in the UK, Angry Gnome Comics and has major contributions to the CGS Anthologies. Dean is a proud gamer and pro-wrestling fanatic.

His biggest influences are John Byrne, Will Eisner, Jack Kirby, Neal Adams, and Dale Keown. Drawing comics most of his life, Kelly Williams, through hard work and determination, has managed to stay mostly under the radar and unheard of. Having contributed to numerous anthologies over the years from publishers like Grayhaven and Alterna, as well as a growing stack of pinups for various comics, this rather short guy stays pretty busy.

After contributing art for a couple installments of Caryn A. Tate’s fantastic western comic series, Red Plains(part of the TopShelf’s 2.0 web comics collection), and losing his day job due to company buy outs and what he can only describe as something to do with androids posing as raccoons, Kelly rose from the ashes and said “I should probably draw more comics”.

And so it was.

2014 will see the release of two graphic novels drawn by Kelly. The Cabinet, written by Christian Sager, (a historical fiction horror story set primarily in the Arctic) and Metaphase, written by Chip Reece, (the story of a boy with Down Syndrome who is trying to live up to his super hero father).
